Shuhui Yao is an LA based composer, sound designer, and music editor from Suzhou, China.
A history enthusiast since a young age, her attention towards her own mythology developed in tandem with her cultural awareness.
Shuhui brings her voice as the Mandarin narrator and translator, as well as extensive cultural context explored in the discussion episodes.
Josué Vera
Co-Producer & Creative Director
Josué Vera is a Puerto Rican multimedia composer based in NYC.
A story lover and storyteller, he’s a firm believer that exchanging tales is key to empathy and understanding, and is always looking to learn more about the human experience.
He oversees the podcast’s logistics, and contributes his voice and thoughts to the Discussion Episode.

Andrew Goehring is a composer and collaborative storyteller based in New York.
Steeped deep in literature and theater, Andrew’s narrative sensibility and wordsmithing is found all throughout his work.
